On a beautiful summer day at Château Touny-les-Roses in Lagrave, Olivier Carré gathered employees, customers and partners to celebrate his company’s tenth anniversary.
This year, the Carré group achieved a major milestone as it changed its name after a merger with its Irish partner Amarenco. Embracing the new brand name “Amarenco France”, the company went on to increase its headcount from 45 to 75 employees in 2018, therefore consolidating its spot among the leading companies in the solar market. In the meantime, its turnover jumped from 14 million euros in 2017 to 25 million euros in 2018. “Our company that has been profitable for several years and our order book is full until mid-2020”, said Olivier Carré.
The company is also innovative at its core. It recently developed a solar bollard lights especially suited for the outdoor lighting market, such as campsites or resort yards. This product was launched in December 2018 and was received with enthusiasm in Spain and the South of France.
