With over a decade of experience in the PV sector, Amarenco is one of the leaders in the solar PV industry in France.
Amarenco, an independent European Solar IPP, is strategically partnering with large financial outfits to generate profitable investments. With 200MW of assets in ownership, the company has been working with farmers, local authorities, industries and businesses for a decade to develop, build and operate solar projects of the highest quality.
For the last 10 years, Olivier Carré, president of Amarenco, has developed a company with global ambitions. Today, Amarenco has nearly 70 employees who work hard every day to build large-scale renewable energy facilities recognised for their reliability.
From development, financing and construction to maintenance and innovation, we control the entire value chain to deliver cost-efficient renewable energy installations. With more than 1000 projects completed in France and in Europe, and a turnover of € 29 million in 2018, Amarenco is a solid IPP to partner with. While staying true to our start-up mindset, we are also accustomed to working with larger national and international corporations on a regular basis.
A portfolio of 29 MW of projects won in the CRE 4 tenders, and developed by Amarenco in partnership with Total Solar, is currently in construction. This pipeline of projects is supported by a financing agreement with Unifergie (Crédit Agricole Group) for € 34 million. In addition, other investment agreements are being negotiated with Amarenco, to finance its future growth.
As the leading solar project developer in France, Amarenco also ambitions to diversify into new areas in France and abroad, and to boost its pipeline of utility-scale ground-mount PV plants. These ambitious goals will require significant financial and human resources.
To achieve these goals, the company is in constant contact with investors as well as in permanent search for qualified personnel. Indeed, many roles, including technical and project management positions, are currently open on our website. The company aims to recruit over 30 people throughout 2019. You can meet our team at the Energaia renewable energies forum, on December 11 and 12, 2018, at the Montpellier Exhibition Center.
